Road to recovery ❤️‍ for Roo, Our Brave Mini Dachshund

Thank you for being here. This is the heartfelt story of our mini dachshund Roo—Bella and Bébé's little brother, chatty, friendly, and the happiest mini Dachshund you will ever meet.

Last Tuesday morning, I found him waddling like a seal—his chest elevated and his hind end awkwardly dragging behind. He wasn’t moving his back legs. From running around the horse paddocks the day before to barely being able to move, our world turned upside down.

An emergency referral that same day to Dick White's, a specialist vet near Newmarket, resulted in an immediate MRI scan. The diagnosis was a slipped disc in his spine, and the only option to give Roo the best chance of life was a spinal operation. The entire treatment, including blood tests, MRI, and physio, sits around £8000 to cover the costs.

Roo loves life, his siblings, and his human family. He's an exceptional little dog with a big heart, and we are fighting for him because he deserves a chance!
