Sgt. Ron Lunn is a friend of mine who served in the U.S. Army from 1988 until 2010 when he was retired disabled due to years of hard work. He has fallen on hard times from a multitude of issues. He needs surgery but the VA is resistant in performing what is needed. At present his vehicle has issues and can not get it through inspection. His plumbing inside the house is damaged and he is unable to repair it himself or pay others to do it. Last his basement floods when it rains and this is leading to unhealthy living conditions. where mold is likely to start growing. He is a member of the wounded warrior project and was one of several soldiers featured at the White House when Donald Trump was president. His service dog needs to see the vet but that has been postponed also. In his service career, he served with the 56th SBCT, 144 EOD, HHC 2-32 Armoured Division and the 549th EODCT along with the initial service in HHC 5-8 Infantry in Germany. His wife is working as well but it is barely making ends meet. Ron currently lives in York, PA and any help getting his basement dry, plumbing fixed and car back on the road will make a huge different in his life.
