Hi, my name is Rita and I'm 65. I transitioned twenty years ago, and ever since then, I've been trying to raise the money to get breast implants. This surgery currently is not covered by the NHS, hence my reason for asking for this help.

A very large proportion of trans women are forced into the sex industry in order to pay for this type of plastic surgery. Even though I'm not anti sex workers, per se, I don't want to have to do this in order to obtain the money for a procedure that is vital to my personal psychological wellbeing.

Even though I've been working for most of my adult life (and remain so), I still have found it incredibly difficult to raise this sum of money. I have always lived in rented accommodation, often earning small amounts of money, usually just enough to cover my living expenses. Access to credit is incredibly difficult for someone like me.

Your help in making it possible for me to obtain this surgery will not only contribute to my personal wellbeing, but will give me the opportunity to finally realise my dream of being recognised as a woman.
