My name is Tomás, and I want to share the story of my father, Ricardo Luis Llantén.

Not long ago, we received news that turned our world upside down, my dad was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), along with cirrhosis and other complications that make this journey even more difficult.

The doctors have recommended starting with a medication called Lenvatinib, which can help slow the progression of the cancer, while also evaluating a special procedure called TARE (radioembolization), which delivers targeted radiation directly to the tumor. These treatments give us hope, but they also come with costs far beyond what our family can cover alone.

That is why we have set a goal of 10,000 dollars. This amount is needed to cover:

    •    Costly medications such as Lenvatinib.

    •    Hospitalizations and frequent medical consultations to manage complications.

    •    A special diet and supplements to keep his strength and immunity.

    •    Other medical expenses and studies that arise throughout the process.

But beyond the illness, I want you to know who my dad truly is. Ricardo is a man full of life, a lifelong athlete, a dancer whose joy is contagious, a grandfather who makes every moment unforgettable, and the soul of every family gathering. His energy and generosity have touched everyone who knows him!
