I met Rhea Cutillo a few years ago at the Main Line Art Center, where she and I are both teaching artists. Rhea is one of the most talented artists I know. She has the unique and genius ability to capture and honor sacred spaces through her medium of oil painting. With her paintings, she is a fierce advocate of Mother Earth, and protecting land and the environment for the generations after us.

The past few years have been extremely difficult for Rhea and her family, and Rhea has had to navigate many life transitions including taking on the role of caretaker for a close family member. She has faced this adversity with strength and bravery, and it is now time for her to take care of her own body. To not only survive, but to thrive and continue sharing her art and her beautiful spirit with the world.

Rhea was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September 2022 . After two minor surgeries, she is facing a possible hysterectomy. Since July 2023 she has been working with a holistic oncologist in tandem with her OBGYN oncologist. The current healing plan is fully out of pocket. As her savings have been depleted I ask you to join me in supporting her in body, mind, and spirit.
