Donate to help Rhea

This feels really uncomfortable for me to do this but the amount of support that I have received is crazy. I sometimes forget that we are a nation of animal lovers and some people do just truly want to help others, so thank you so much xxx

On the 1st April I gave Rhea a knuckle bone that I bought from pets at home, unfortunately part of the bone got stuck in her intestines and caused a blockage. Rhea had emergency surgery on the tuesday but 3 days later the stitches came undone inside. I was given the choice to put her down there and then or take her to a specialist.

Rhea was not ready to give up and nor was I. Rhea is a Romanian street dog rescue. She is a fighter through and through, I had to give her a chance to beat this and I truly think she will.

She had her surgery at the specialist on Friday and she is stable, she has a long road ahead of her and will remain at the vet hospital for a while untill she can come home.

They have estimated the bill will be £14,000. Rhea is insured but only up to £7,000 and just over £3,000 has been used for her first surgery.

I'm not expecting to raise anywhere near the target but anything will help. I will be doing everything I can to raise the rest.

I think any dog owner will understand the pain we are going through, we have two young girls who need thier fur sister home.

You can take the dog off the streets but you can't take the street outta the dog. She is strong and she just needed the chance to prove that. Come Rhi Rhi you have got this
