I recently faced a series of devastating events that quickly changed the trajectory of my life. After struggling with homelessness for almost a year after a very bad break-up, I finally found a new place to call home and started a dream job in the heart of the NYC theater industry. However, on August 3rd, my apartment was burglarized, and valuable belongings, including recording gear for my voice acting career, were stolen. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, less than a day later, a fire broke out in the apartment next to mine, causing significant damage to my place and belongings.

I didn't have renter's insurance, and now I'm struggling to replace what was taken and repair the damage caused by the fire and water. My finances are super tight, and I need your help to get back on my feet and rebuild what was lost. The burglars took most of my electronics, computer equipment, gaming devices, and recording gear, as well as more things I'm discovering daily as I sort through the ransacked mess they left behind. They also managed to break my primary computer when they yanked out a pair of headphones from the USB jack, cracking the mainboard inside. The water damage from the adjacent fire ruined most of my wardrobe, all but one pair of shoes, and much of what was left behind by burglars in my bedroom and hallway.
