Hi, My name is Liam and my goal in life is to become an artist, and develop a recycling brand and supporting, in the future, creative projects.

The brand I'm working on has deep roots. It all began in the 1970s with my grandparents, who opened a shop in the south of Rome called IL SECCHIO—the first shop in that area to sell jeans. Every three months, they would travel all the way to London to bring back to Rome the latest styles.

In 1998, they closed the shop down . Now, 24 years later, I’m bringing IL SECCHIO back to life, not just as a store, but as a brand with a whole new purpose.

The OVERPRODUCTION of clothes and materials over the past few years has been drastically increasing without thinking to much to quality and some times Design and functionality.

IL SECCHIO, which means “THE BIN” in Italian, stands for a new vision: transforming waste materials into high-quality, well-designed clothing, furniture, and art. We're committed to the recycling of old materials, to researching eco-responsible fabrics, and to creating new opportunities for designers, textile artists, and local artisans.

Everything will be produced locally—right where it's sold—to keep our environmental impact as low as possible.
