UPDATE: NEW PICTURES ADDED showing the progress of the reconstruction!

Thank you to everyone who has blessed Pastors Errol & Peggy James with your generous donations to rebuild their house. They are so grateful for all the help they have received! View the new pictures of the progress they have made so far. One side of the house shows a lot of progress, but there is still a long way to go and any donation is gratefully appreciated!

UPDATE: Pastors Errol and Peggy extend their thanks to everyone that has blessed them with their prayers and their finances. They wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

1. They are living with Sister Peggy’s brother while their home is being reconstructed. They will be living with him until their home is finished.

2. The temporary electric meter needed for the repairs is installed.

3. Thanks to the donations we have already received, they can start to purchase the building materials needed to begin the reconstruction.

Christian Community Church in Farmingdale, NY is starting this GoFundMe for Pastors Errol and Veronica (Peggy) James of Claremont, Jamaica. Their home was severely damaged in Hurricane Melissa. The storm blew the roof off, compromised the structure, and damaged the contents inside. Praise God Pastors Errol and Peggy had evacuated and are safe, but their home is unlivable.

Pastors Errol and Peggy have faithfully served the Lord and their community for 47 years. They pastor two congregations with Faith Christian Fellowship Churches—one in Claremont and one in St. Ann’s Bay. Their ministry has reached a countless number of lives as they prayed, taught the Gospel, and showed the Love of Jesus. Our church has partnered in ministry with them for 37 years, after Hurricane Gilbert destroyed the island much like Hurricane Melissa just did.

Today, it is our turn to be a blessing to them as they have been to so many. First, please pray. They cherish our prayers and they know that God will give them the wisdom and strength they need to get through this time. Second, please donate.
