Help us recover after a tree destroyed our home

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and deep gratitude. On May 15th 2025, a large tree unexpectedly fell on our home during a storm, causing extensive damage and turning our lives upside down in an instant.

We are incredibly thankful to say that we are safe, and no one was seriously hurt — and for that, we count our blessings every single day. But while we’re grateful to walk away physically unharmed, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming.

The damage to our home is extensive. The roof has caved in, walls are destroyed, and several of our most essential living spaces are no longer habitable. We’re now facing a long road of repairs, temporary relocation, and replacing essentials — all of which come with unexpected and significant costs.

While we’re doing everything we can to work with insurance, there are already many uncovered expenses piling up, and an uncertain timeline when we will be able to go back to our home again. Repairs could take many months.

This is not easy for us to ask, but we’re humbly seeking support from our community, friends, and family. Any contribution — no matter how small — will help lighten the burden and bring us one step closer to rebuilding our lives and finding stability again.
