Greetings,
My name is Karem Hitter and I am Rosy's niece. I am reaching out openheartedly for help for a much needed and dire cause. Aunt Rosy has Stage 4 Metastatic disease and her chemotherapy treatments have left her body weak and bedridden. She is required to be on life saving oxygen indefinitely and requires 24 hour care. We are asking for your help and kindness, this is a fraction of her story in short.
October 10, 2022 at the age of 46 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and soon underwent surgery for a double mastectomy and had her left lymph nodes removed as well. After further imaging in March of 2023 they discovered she now had Metastatic disease. What this meant was that the cancer had spread to her left ribs and sternum, liver, and her lungs causing a pleural effusion ( liquid build up which restricts breathing). She has so far been hospitalized 4 times in the most recent months and now has had a catheter so I can release her lung pressure at home. She is on her second round of chemo and its absolutely taken a brutal toll on her body.
Aunt Rosy is 47 years young she is an exceptional mom, and a blessing to anyones life she enters. She is definitely a giver and caring by nature. She loves spending time with her son, her church family and cooking with friends. Aunt Rosy loves her fur babies and nature walks. She surrounds herself with caring likeminded people and most importantly she is a woman of God and her faith is amazing. She means so much to so many. During her tough days with cancer friends showed their acts of kindness by prayer, home cooked meals and visits and we are so grateful for that, so thank you!
Right now we are asking for a miracle . She absolutely needs 24 hr care. I can care for her during the day but we are in dire need of funds so we can hire someone who can stay the evenings and nights with her to administer meds, personal care, company among other things . She is on an oxygen concentrator and would need a gas generator in case the power goes out. Her insurance doesn't cover some of these expenses . She will feel safe and loved staying in the comfort of her home. A kind friend of the family has stayed for almost 1 month and she is due to leave in February. We want her to stay....will you please help her stay ? She has been a blessing and we would like to continue to compensate her and are hoping this may cover 12 months of night care and other items and necessities she may need to get through this year , but we need a village right know so I'm turning to you.
Many Blessings to you and your families.
Humbly,
Karem Hitter and family
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
