Hi Team,

You might have seen all the pictures, videos and broadcasting on the news about the flooding in Victoria.

My name is Adrian, and one of my employees and a friend, Pouria, has been really heavily impacted by the floods. His home is near the Maribyrnong River (the photo is of his street); he had to go through the horrible scenario of seeing the water rising by the minute, spending a night in his car to make sure no one broke in, then completely flooding his home, without being able to do anything to save it.

The list of things he's lost is long: bed, mattress, bedside tables, wardrobe, couch, carpets & rugs, bookshelf, bar unit, coffee table, desk, fridge& freezer, washing machine - it keeps going. Anything he could not get onto his car quick enough (or did not fit) before evacuating is gone.

Pouria is always there to help other people if needed - this time, I'd like to support him by starting this fundraiser, I appreciate everyone's donation - no amount is too small. Even if it's just a 6 pack of good ol' American beer.

Many people in Victoria and other parts of Australia have been impacted by destructive floods this year, and my heart goes out to all of them. I can't imagine losing everything I've built over such a long time and the amount of work and money that goes into rebuilding it.
