Hi, I’m fundraising for my dog Pluto to get an operation on his hip and knee. He’s only 5 and he’s barely able to walk at the minute. He’s not eating food because he’s in so much pain and the painkillers can only work so much. We have brought him to the vet so much over the last few years for his leg and the last resort now is to get this operation for an implant to be put in his leg. The sooner they can do the operation the better chance he has of walking and running properly again without pain.

He’s a cross breed between a springer spaniel and a basset hound so he has small legs and a big body. The weight of him is too heavy for his legs to carry so there is a bigger strain on them.

He is a rescue dog and didn’t own any toys when he took him in. All he wants is to run around after the ball he doesn’t care about treats or food, the ball is his joy. Anyone that knows him knows how happy he is with a ball. Even through his pain he has the biggest smile on his face, he is so strong. It’s so hard not letting him run around because he doesn’t understand the running is making it worse.
