For three weeks Pedro had been having bad headaches and went to a clinic where they diagnosed him with severe sinusitis and put him on a regimen of three antibiotic injections to be administered at the clinic.

The headaches persisted and worsened, he started losing weight, vomiting and having difficulty walking. On January 11, 2023, Pedro was taken to the emergency room where he was also experiencing memory loss. Later that day they were told that he has a brain tumor and was put into Nuerovascular Intensive Care where a biopsy was done. He was intubated and underwent emergency surgery where a piece of his skull was taken out and a drain was placed in for fluids. The biopsy results were expected to come within 1-2 weeks, and 4-6 weeks for his bone to be put back on his skull. On February 5, 2023, they were notified that Pedro has Stage 4 Cancer (Astrocytoma). He was then sent to rehab to do physical therapy because somewhere along the way he had a stroke and a heart attack where his left side became paralyzed. On February 24, 2023, Pedro was discharged.

On February 25, 2023, Pedro started having seizures and was taken to the hospital where he was stabilized and sent back home. March 4, 2023, he wasn't feeling well so he was taken back to the hospital, then 4 days later on March 8, 2023, Pedro had surgery and 80% of the tumor was removed. He was sent home to recover, as he is still very swollen from surgery and fluids.

Pedro is still awaiting surgery to place the bone back in his skull, a synthetic bone because the first hospital didn't want to release his bone back to him. He is also still awaiting chemotherapy, radiation and physical therapy.

Durante tres semanas Pedro había estado teniendo fuertes dolores de cabeza y fue a una clínica donde le diagnosticaron sinusitis severa y le pusieron un régimen de tres inyecciones de antibióticos para ser administrados en la clínica.

Los dolores de cabeza persistieron y empeoraron, comenzó a perder peso, vómitos y dificultad para caminar. El 11 de enero de 2023, Pedro fue llevado a la sala de emergencias donde también estaba experimentando pérdida de memoria. Más tarde ese mismo día les dijeron que tenía un tumor cerebral y lo pusieron en Cuidados Intensivos Nuerovasculares donde le hicieron una biopsia. Fue intubado y se sometió a una cirugía de emergencia en la que se extrajo una parte de su cráneo y se colocó un drenaje para líquidos. Se esperaba que los resultados de la biopsia llegaran dentro de 1 a 2 semanas, y de 4 a 6 semanas para volver a colocar el hueso en el cráneo. El 5 de febrero de 2023, se les notificó que Pedro tiene cáncer en etapa 4 (Astrocitoma). Luego lo enviaron a rehabilitación para hacer fisioterapia porque en algún momento tuvo un derrame cerebral y un ataque al corazón donde su lado izquierdo quedó paralizado. El 24 de febrero de 2023 Pedro fue dado de alta.

El 25 de febrero de 2023, Pedro comenzó a tener convulsiones y fue llevado al hospital donde fue estabilizado y enviado de regreso a casa. El 4 de marzo de 2023, no se sentía bien, por lo que lo llevaron nuevamente al hospital, luego, 4 días después, el 8 de marzo de 2023, Pedro se sometió a una cirugía y se extirpó el 80 % del tumor. Lo enviaron a casa para recuperarse, ya que todavía está muy hinchado por la cirugía y los líquidos.

Pedro todavía está esperando la cirugía para volver a colocar el hueso en su cráneo, un hueso sintético porque el primer hospital no quiso devolverle el hueso. También sigue esperando quimioterapia, radiación y fisioterapia.
