His journey since then has been one of incredible resilience and determination. He spent three arduous months in the ICU, battling for his life and striving to overcome the aftermath of the heart attack, all in the hopes of becoming a candidate for an external heart transplant. Finally, the day arrived, and Pedro received the transplant successfully, emerging from the ICU to return home. While we are immensely grateful for his second chance at life, our journey is far from over. Pedro continues to face daily challenges with medications, appointments, and therapy sessions.
