I am now home and recovering. Thank you so much to everyone that has donated, this has eased so much stress and anxiety and will allow me to focus on healing over the next 6 weeks. I couldn't have done it without you all and no words can express my gratitude. 

The surgeon removed a huge chunk of disc that was floating around my spine and compressing my nerve ( I have the video if anyone sick wants to see it ;) very satisfying )

I will now close off donations. These funds will cover the procedure and upcoming physio and pharmacy bills. Again...I am blown away by peoples generosity and can't wait to see you all in person for a thank you cuddle.

Hi, my name is Lola,

 

This isn't something I would usually do, but I have found myself needing immediate surgery for disc sequestration where my L5/S1 nerve has been compressed, leaving me struggling to walk and with an injury that unfortunately won't heal itself (Trust me, I've tried)

 

The cost has come in at $7,000 for the surgeon plus $1800 for the anaesthetist + Hospital +$1600 for the assistant, something my family and I are just not in the position to cover the total cost of.

 

I am asking for $6000 to help cover the gap here and am honestly embarrassed to ask for help when so many other people are in need right now.
