Donate to help pay for my brother's Medical Fees

Hi Everyone,

My name is Donovan Dunkley. I am reaching out to you all on behalf of my brother Dwight Dunkley Jr. and my family to ask for your help during what is proving to be a very difficult time.

My older brother Dwight suffered a major stroke at the beginning of this year (Jan 2023) while living in his San Antonio apartment, where he had resided for 7 years prior. He was living alone and was alone at the time of the stroke, unbeknownst to anyone! He was discovered by his friend a whole 2 days later after his close friends became weary of the lack of replies to missed calls and text messages sent to him.

For clarity, My brother suffered a stroke for 48 hours straight. He has suffered quite a bit of damage to his brain and mobility skills and is undergoing heavy physical therapy to regain the skills lost. We spent a few months flying back and forth to Texas handling matters and visitation until we were able to terminate his lease early and move him and his belongings back to NYC for closer care. Naturally, he has been unable to work and my mother, also without work at this time, has also been his main caretaker.

It's been quite an intense and emotionally draining year. Sadly, it has essentially drained our entire funds and savings.

We need assistance in paying for medical bills & fees and ultimately helping my brother recuperate as far and fast as possible. It has been a really really scary time for my family. We ask with extreme sincerity and gratitude for any donations that you may be able to give as any amount of money helps tremendously.
