Hello everyone, my name is Emma, I am a 23 year old woman from Sweden and I am raising a gofundme for my cat Misty, this is her story.

Friday 15/8 I noticed a change with my cat Misty, her belly was swollen and she had some yellowish substance leaking out of her. I had called a local vet station about what I saw and they told me to come in with Misty so I could do a check on her on the following day, Saturday 16/8. What they found was that Misty had developed a serious condition called Pyometra. Her uterus was so filled with infection that the vet said it could burst at any moment meaning that if that happened, it would only take 10 seconds for her to die. So, I gave them the okay to go through with a surgery and it ended up costing around 34 000 Swedish Krona (SEK). This happened during the weekend so the fees were higher than normally but they said this couldn’t wait until Monday.. I don’t have the total amount of money on me because I recently bought my Grandma’s house and money is tight right now.

Misty is only 3 years old and she has a whole life ahead of her, I couldn’t tell them to put her to sleep. Because I am not ready for this beautiful cat to cross the rainbow bridge
