Hi, I'm Tiarnna. I am fundraising to cover the costs of the funeral and burial expenses for my nephew. He was murdered last weekend. We are devastated.
My brother does not have the means to cover most of the costs. Despite being troubled and associated with a dangerous crowd, Kamonte possessed a good heart and remained a good person. He was loved despite his flaws and mistakes. We love him, but not his choices.
He lost his only brother last year to cancer. His mother is incarcerated, and, unfortunately, many of the men in our family were, including Kamonte. But he was out there trying. He died shortly after turning 21 this month, and he leaves behind three and five-year-old sons.
