Donate to help Paul get a wheelchair accessible van!
Donation protected
Hi my name is Paul. I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in 2019 and went from being active and working, to being bedridden in a few short months. We live in a wheelchair accessible home but unfortunately I can no longer get into our vehicle and as both my wife and I are on disability, we cannot afford a wheelchair accessible van. We do not understand why the cost of them, even used, is so expensive. I have not been able to go out with my wife for a drive, dinner or outing in two years now. It is very isolating when you cannot get around and are stuck at home all the time. We are grateful for all that we do have though and live a simple life of enjoying the birds, squirrels and chipmunks that go through the yard! We were mortgage free but just moved into a wheelchair accessible home and have a small mortgage again.
I never have been the type of person to ask for things and this is a very humbling experience. We would appreciate if you would consider helping us.
Thank you!
Paul
