Patrick was born and raised in Greencastle, IN where he tore up the football fields, tested the limits of teenage rebellion, and formed lifelong friendships with his hometown brothers and sisters. Patrick played ball for one year at Triton College in Chicago, and later studied history at Indiana University. Patrick has lived and worked in Indiana, Arizona, Oregon, California, and Kentucky. He was a born creative; he has worked in advertising and marketing, spending the last many years as a freelance designer/creative director/media guru.

An inexplicable affinity for Brazil (and all things Brazilian) led him to different regions of the country. He and his wife Elisangela wed in 2015 in Bahia. The couple made their way back to the States in 2019, and currently reside in Newport, KY.

In April of this year, chronic pain led to the discovery and diagnosis of Stage 4 metastatic cancer. The disease has progressed rapidly, but he and his family are hopeful that treatment will extend Patrick's time with loved ones. While Patrick is an incredibly kind and gentle soul, old friends remember the football gladiator and the headstrong, impetuous young man. Patrick's independent and tenacious spirit is facing its greatest challenge. Your support and caring, plus the expertise of an excellent oncology team can buoy his spirits and awaken the fighter within.

Patrick is no longer able to work. For two decades, he doggedly grew and sustained his brand. But project work, no matter how successful, doesn't come with a benefits package.
