Hi all! I am seeking financial help for Patric Tester, who was one of two victims in a violent attack around 9pm Wednesday evening at Buzzmill, in Austin TX.

Yesterday, he was stabbed while attempting to pull the assailant off of a friend and coworker. While Patric’s injuries aren’t life threatening, he isn’t out of the woods yet. He was rushed to a near by hospital, where he is currently in stable condition and receiving medical care.

Right now, the focus is on helping him heal and receive any urgent treatment needed for his injuries. However, he does not have medical insurance, and the costs of emergency care, laparoscopic surgery, hospital treatment, medication, rehabilitation, and follow-up care may be overwhelming. I suspect some may be covered by some victims services but felt like getting a jump on this as soon as possible.

I am raising funds to help cover:

• Emergency-room and hospital expenses

• Treatment for injuries

• Surgery and medications

• Rehabilitation and ongoing medical care

• Lost income and essential living expenses
