The news of a high PSA (24.5) and the suspicion of cancer began during a routine appointment in April at Hope Light Medical Clinic. They initially thought it was just an infection, but after a month of treatment in May, the PSA rose to 25.3. Immediately, they referred me to a urologist, and I was scheduled for an appointment on July 21. After several exams, on August 7, they confirmed the cancer, and on August 15, they stated that it had spread to other parts of the body - in summary, an aggressive cancer.

Then, the urologist and oncologist joined forces, and I'm currently undergoing hormone treatment and chemotherapy, with radiotherapy to be added later. The doctors' plan is hormonal injections every month or three months and 6 chemotherapy sessions, with the sixth one scheduled for December 31.

It's truly a blessing to have the help of the hospital and pharmaceutical companies. But the remaining expenses are very high.
