Donate To Help Owners Of China City

Hi! I’m the friend & neighbor of the family that owns China city Restaurant in Gastonia NC on Davis park rd. This family owns and operates the business by their self, and even their little kids help operate! Even Sometimes the child will answer the phone! With them operating 6 days a WEEK, with only one day off, they stay busy with their work life and supporting their family, while feeding the community. The night of Sunday 18th of February, something very tragic happened during closing time, after a hard day of work. After shutting down & getting ready to go home, two armed robbers came through the back door while having a gun to one of the workers head. Then they were traumatized & forced into the dining area while the other guy emptied the cash drawer. The two young children, were scared to death. The husband of the restaurant (dad of the kids) was shot in his upper thigh & is in a local Charlotte NC hospital being treated for a gun shot. What this family and kids witnessed, was beyond evil & devastating. They will never see this restaurant the same for a long time & will never forget what happened. The whole community & everyone in Gaston county is asking how they can help & they are devastated as well. This should NOT have happened, and definitely to this kind hearted family, just trying to support their selfs and live a HONEST working life. If you can, please consider donating to this family. All funds will go directly to them. This will help with medical costs & being out of work for a week-2 weeks, and it will also give back some of the money that was robbed from them.
