Hi friends, my name is Alula, and I’m reaching out on behalf of a beloved friend, teacher, colleague, and father to many—Professor Hassen Muhammed.

Hassen is currently battling a life-threatening illness that has severely damaged both his kidneys and liver. His only hope is to receive urgent medical treatment abroad—care that is far beyond his financial means.

This is a man who has given everything to others. He taught with passion, supported students from his own salary, mentored researchers, comforted the broken, shared what little he had, and stood by so many in their hardest times. Today, Hassen needs us.
