Hi. I'm Ellen Nordstrom's sister, Christina. You may know that Ellen is a Covid “long-hauler” with ongoing health complications. She has had three mini-strokes in the last year, together with a recent second bout of Covid. Ellen’s doctor has advised that she will not be able to work for the near term (through September). We understand that her status will be re-evaluated, but it is not known now when or if she will be able to return to work.

 

She has exhausted all of her savings. My family is helping with some of her current needs and in applying for various governmental support services. But we don’t know yet those for which she might qualify. The immediate need is for help with ongoing expenses such as rent, utilities, medical/prescription co-pays, etc.

 

We’ve set up this fundraiser for her as many of her friends and colleagues have asked how they might help. We would very much appreciate any contribution you might be able to make on Ellen’s behalf.
