Today i am reaching out to you with a heavy heart for a very important reason. Some of you might have already noticed that Alessia, our dear friend has been in the hospital for some weeks.

She began feeling sick at Unum Festival, where she was unable to attend all days .. and because of symptoms she was experiencing, she returned to Italy - heading directly to the emergency room. From there, the status of her health got increasingly worse, things got so severe that she was unable to walk, talk and even other basic functions of her body were affected.

After some tests in the Hospital, Alessia was diagnosed with inflammation of the brain and bone marrow caused by an infection. There are still tests to do but one thing is certain, Alessia will be not able to return to Germany as she needs to stay in the Hospital for treatment. This will go over months.

I am sharing this with you because with this diagnosis, she is not capable of working. Most of you know her as both the backbone & the shinning light of the 60waves store. Right now she is feeling she has lost all that she loves - as you can imagine yourself in her shoes, this is not just a challenge for her body, but for her mental health as well.

I never thought to be here making such a request, but this is real - and in response we set up a fundraiser. As she has her flat in Berlin, her life is also set up there: there are bills to pay which she can't cover, and medical expenses to pay. Of course 60waves will do all in its capacity to support, however we can only do so much without your help.

The 60 waves family would like to ask all you to please join us in the effort of supporting Alessia through this GoFundMe Campagin. Any generosity you can find in your heart can help here. & Please send her greetings and some encouraging words - she needs strength from all of us as a community. We had planned to celebrate into her birthday (July 9th) - on the 8th of july at Club der Visionäre. Sadly she will be in the hospital at this time.

We would like to forward the funds raised to her parents on the 8th of July so they can share it with her as encouragement - all in the hopes of relieving her sorrows, so she can focus on the healing process. The collected money will be used to cover the rent of her flat for at least 3 months, along with basic bills, phone & so on. The process of healing can take up to 6 months or longer , depending on the success of the treatments she receives. The most important is that she keeps her spirits up - and feeling some support and relief from all of you would truly help.

Her family, her self and of course we all here would be more than grateful.
