In a time when darkness covers Gaza, we still believe humanity can shine brighter than tragedy.

My name is Rayana from Sweden, and I’m raising funds for my dear friend Wael Al-Faseeh and his family in Gaza, who are facing unimaginable hardship due to the ongoing war.

This fundraiser is intended to support Wael Al-Faseeh and his wife, Alaa, who is one of the direct recipients of the funds and will be receiving and managing the support on behalf of the family.

Before the war, Wael ran a small carpentry workshop, a symbol of hope and hard work that supported his wife and two children. But their home and workshop were bombed and destroyed. Now, they’ve lost everything.

Wael carries the weight of 11 family members, including his elderly father and an orphaned niece. Every day, they struggle with:

• Hunger and lack of clean water

• No electricity or medical care

• No safe home or school for the children

• Constant fear under daily bombardment

Despite it all, Wael keeps fighting to protect his family and give his children a future.

في زمنٍ يخيّم فيه الظلام على غزة، ما زلنا نؤمن بأن الإنسانية قادرة على أن تضيء أشدّ من أي مأساة.

 اسمي ريانة من السويد، وأنا أجمع التبرعات لصديقي العزيز وائل الفصيح وعائلته في غزة، الذين يواجهون معاناة لا توصف بسبب الحرب الدائرة هناك.

 قبل الحرب، كان وائل يدير ورشة نجارة صغيرة تمثل الأمل والعمل الجاد، وكانت مصدر رزق له ولزوجته وطفليه. لكن منزله وورشته دُمّرا بالكامل في القصف، وفقدوا كل ما يملكون. 

 وائل اليوم يتحمّل مسؤولية إعالة 11 فردًا من عائلته، من بينهم والده المسنّ وابنة شقيقه اليتيمة.

 كل يوم، يواجهون معاناة مستمرة تتمثل في: • الجوع ونقص المياه الصالحة للشرب • انعدام الكهرباء والرعاية الطبية • غياب المأوى الآمن والمدرسة للأطفال • الخوف الدائم تحت القصف اليومي 

 ورغم كل شيء، لا يزال وائل يقاتل من أجل حماية عائلته وتأمين مستقبل أطفاله.
