On behalf of the Service Air and ACS Team we would like to create this fundraiser for one of our valued employees, Loran Brooks, who works at one of our branches, Service Air in Silverhill, Alabama.
With Loran's permission, her husband has provided me with the following details I am able to share with the group.
On the night of June 12, Loran and her three children—ages 14, 6, and 4—were involved in a devastating head-on collision caused by a drunk driver. Loran sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the ICU at USA Trauma Center in Mobile, Alabama, where she remained for four days. She has since been moved to a regular room but is still in critical condition.
Loran has undergone two major surgeries so far, including a 10-hour procedure to repair her shattered pelvis and hip. More surgeries are expected as part of her recovery. Her children were also injured: one suffered a broken collar bone and wrist, another has bruising and a spleen injury, and the youngest has abdominal bruising and a liver injury. Thankfully, the children are now home in the care of family and friends, but they continue to require medical follow-ups and care.
Loran is a devoted mother and a cherished member of our team. She faces a long and difficult road to recovery and is expected to be out of work for at least 4 to 6 months. During this incredibly hard time, we want to offer our employees the opportunity to support Loran and her family.
Your donation will help ease the financial burden on Loran’s family—covering medical bills, daily living expenses, and other needs as they navigate this unimaginable situation. Any amount you can give will make a meaningful difference.
On behalf of Loran, her family, and all of us at Service Air and Air Conditioning Specialist, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
