Hi there. My name is Official Shannon. I am an independent music artist that has a project coming out to address catcalling, harassment and empower those who have been knocked down.

Financially times are tough for me as an artist that needs more funds to achieve the visions I have in mind to creatively execute my project and to reach as many people as possible with my empowering messages. Any music artist or industry person will know, it is extremely hard to make money through streaming services or any quick returns on investing in music projects. Life is also giving its best shot at throwing fireballs at my wallet for things such as unexpected car break downs and playing gigs that aren't paying me for over a month after I completed the job. I also work full time at a university and run an event series and community called Under The Radar London to give back to underrated female artists who deserve more opportunities and more ears on their music but this is still not enough to cover my music and living and emergency costs. So anything you can spare to help my music project if you'd like to help would be incredible! £2,000 is what it costs to release just one single nowadays when you add up production, mix and mastering fees, session musicians, music video and creative team fees. So that is what I'm looking to raise from those who wish to support my project. Finance should never be a barrier to creativity and I really really really want to one day make music my full time gig!
