Hello friends and family! As many of you know, Noah and Emma (my son and daughter-in-law) welcomed their first child, a perfect little son, into the world a few short weeks ago. Despite his due date being the end of January, Ashton made an early debut to the world as a micro-preemie, with a birth weight of just 2 lbs and 3 oz. While no one could have predicted this, the grace, strength, and courage Noah and Emma have shown in the face of uncertainty have been awe-inspiring and an example to us all.

Your prayers, light, and positive thoughts have nurtured their hearts and sustained their faith in these past few weeks, and our family is so grateful for your outpouring of love. This GoFundMe fundraiser is my answer to so many of you who have reached out to me personally, asking for the opportunity to do more to support Noah and Emma as they embark on the most significant challenge of their young lives.

Money raised here will be provided to Noah and Emma to supplement their income to cover living expenses, travel to and from the NICU, lodging, meals, etc. while Ashton remains hospitalized over the next few months. SPECIAL NOTE: As I write this evening, we are incredibly blessed to report that while Ashton David has a long way to go and much developing to do - he was just inaugurated into the 3-pounders club at his NICU. Way to go little one!
