Nemias has been a busser at Bugatti Restaurant in Coral Gables since 2004. For over 20 years, he has worked hard to support his family. On Friday, March 28, while riding his electric scooter home from work, he was hit by a car.

Thankfully, he survived, but he suffered a broken pelvis and will be unable to work for several months. Now, at 70 years old and confined to bed, his biggest worry isn’t his recovery—it’s how he’ll continue to provide for his loved ones.

He needs our help during this difficult time, and we do not doubt that the Coral Gables community, his coworkers, and his friends will come together to support him and bring hope.
