Donate to help my nephew on his road to recovery

Hi my name is Allison. I started this GoFundMe for my nephew, Ian.

Ian is on the road to recovery after 2 very rough months in the hospital. He has been diagnosed with a very rare illness which will require rare IV medications, for the rest of his life, and a long physical recovery.

Ian had just graduated Television and Film Post Production, from CNA in St John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, when his symptoms started. This put a halt to his dreams of working in the film industry right out of school.

All Ian wants for Christmas is a good computer for home so he can work on his digital editing skills and hopefully gain employment that way. We are hopeful that he will be home for Christmas.

I want to help Ian secure his future by getting him the right computer he needs to help him hone his skills from home while recovering and adjusting to his new life. His family are pitching in money for this but these quality computers are thousands of dollars and they are looking for all the help they can get.

I’ve known this kid - now a young adult - all my life. He is resilient, talented and motivated. I can assure you all that your donations will be deeply appreciated and will be instrumental to him launch his new career after what has been a rough ride for the past few months.
