Donate to help my mum beat cancer

Hi everyone, I'm fundraising so we can send my mum to the Care Oncology Clinic in Harley Street, London, in the hope that they can help my mum beat cancer. My mum was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal squamous cell carcinoma of the lung which has spread to her adrenal glands and lymph nodes. She is only 67 and has 3 grandchildren whom love her dearly. Right now she is in severe pain constantly, has severe anemia and she is struggling. The NHS have offered immunotherapy which she has accepted but they have said it won't cure it. She also needs a transfusion for the anemia. We have been researching alternative treatments that work in conjunction with traditional treatments which is how we came across the Care Oncology Clinic in London. The clinic practices a metabolic approach to cancer by blocking specific pathways such as glucose by using off label drugs such as metformin. Treatment typically involves 4 drugs to block the main pathways and the treatment has been shown to be very successful. They have had good results, even with stage 4 lung cancer. In conjunction with the immunotherapy we believe this could be successful for my mums cancer. We have also completely changed my mums eating habits with the help of a naturapathic doctor in an effort to beat this. She is eating all organic produce, drinking filtered water, has only goats dairy, no sugar, and she is taking supplements to help with underlying deficiencys. We feel that the Care Oncology Clinic can offer her hope when traditional treatment cannot. The price for a year at the clinic comes to roughly £1500. The initial consultation is £450, the first checkup 8 weeks later is £225, then appointments are quarterly at £225 per appointment. There will be a charge for the medications but we are unsure as to costs until we have had the consultation. On top of this we do not drive so will have to get transport to the hospital which won't be cheap either. We are hoping to start this protocol ASAP but finances are stopping us. We already pay quite a lot to the naturalpathic doctor so will struggle to pay for this treatment aswell. Please, if you are able to help us in anyway it would mean so much to us. Im not ready to lose my mum and she's not ready to leave this earth. We are eager to try anything that might help her to either beat this, or at least make her more comfortable and improve her quality of life the best we can. Thank you for reading x
