Hello, my name is Farhiya, and I'm helping to fundraise for my mother, who has been ill for the last 25 years with kidney problems. She has been doing dialysis for the last eight years; she has had over ten operations and recently recovered from water (pericardial fluid) in her heart. My brothers and I are not eligible to donate due to our young age; we have tried many times since we turned 18 but always got a no from the doctors. My mother has found three eligible candidates from her extended family who volunteered to donate. These three cousins of hers live in Somalia, and we need assistance in paying for their medical, travel and living expenses while doctors evaluate the best one for her.
