Hi, I go by the nickname Jay L. I am collecting on my behalf of my friend from Bangladesh (someone who I have known for number of years) who wrote to me with an urgent request due the following reason:

"My girl friend (pictured) is in the hospital due to severe lack of hemoglobin caused by her period issues. She needs to get three bags of blood transfused. The first 2 are done and 1 more to go. The cost of all of these is just too much for me at this moment. I have already expended all I had and it is just unfortunately isn't enough. I'm sorry for saying this, but I have to because my back is against the wall. I don't have anything else except to beg for help. I'm trying to raise £300 which I hope will be enough to cover the costs of everything. Any amount is a help. Be it £5 or just sharing it."
