Hello, my name is Joshua and I am raising funds to help my father Jack who is in pretty bad shape and need of a lot of help.

My father had wrist surgery back in December of 2022 and things have been downhill

ever since. After his surgery he wasn't doing well, he returned to the doctor only to find out he had a Stapf Infection. He was treated and released with medication. At home while taking a shower he lost control of his leg and fell injuring his spine. He was transported to the hospital for testing and released to a Physical Therapy center for 20 days.

*Update 3-19-23 - We found out that the fall was due to another injury he had before this one. They found that he has a fractured vertebra, and has had surgery to fix the vertebrae. After the surgery, he was taken to a rehab facility to recover but unfortunately, things have gotten worse. The rods that they put into his spine have started to come out on their own and he has developed MRSA. Another surgery was scheduled to remove the rods and clean out the infection (3-15-23). The surgery went well and the rods were removed. He is still in the hospital recovering, the medication and the anesthetics have been causing him to be out of it and he has not been making much sense so he has had to have a sitter during the day and night. They have changed the medication and he has Vac Bags on the incisions to help them heal. Yesterday (3-19-23) he seem to be doing a little better and was able to maintain conversations and eat. The plan as of now is for him (if the hospital will release him) is that he is to be transported back the rehab facility for care. He has been going on 55+ days in care. I will try to update as I can.

He is a strong man and a fighter and I believe he will overcome this but the funds are starting to run out and he needs help.
