Hello, I am Abeer, divorced. I was working and had a basic salary before the Gaza war. I am a mother of two children, a boy and a girl, Ahmed, 12 years old, and Maram, 9 years old. Their father is an abusive man who abandoned them when they were young, and I bore the responsibility of caring for them psychologically and financially. I also care for a young orphan girl (5 years old) who was adopted after losing her parents in the war. After October 7, 2023, life in the Gaza Strip came to a standstill. I lost my job and my salary, and my family home, where I live with my children, was severely damaged. We were forced to flee several times and live in a canvas tent in tragic conditions. Now we are suffering from severe hunger and high prices due to the war, and I cannot buy food for my children. Please help me to provide food, drink, and medicine for my children, and to rebuild our family home that was destroyed in the war, and to restore life to the innocent eyes of my children. Thank you.
