On September 23rd, 2025, my dad, Kevin Morris, was admitted to UF Health Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. They discovered that he has a rare infection in his blood and spine. The cause of this is still unknown, and while we are very fortunate they caught the infection before it paralyzed him, the road ahead is long and rocky.

We don't know how long he will be hospitalized, and we are looking at around a six-month recovery at home, during which he won't be able to work. My dad is a United States Marine veteran who fought in Desert Storm. He is one of the strongest, smartest, kind-hearted people I know. He and my mom have been married for 22 years and have the kind of love story shown in movies. He shows me every day what a great husband, father, and friend is meant to look like. He has worked incredibly hard my entire life to give me and my brother everything he didn't have.

His medical bills are piling up quickly, and he has always been our primary source of income. My mom owns a small business in downtown Kingsland, Georgia, which we are working hard to keep open during this time. The funds donated will go towards my dad's medical bills and his recovery.
