Hello everyone,
This GoFundMe page has been created to seek your support in raising funds for Ms. Mirasol Carbonilla Bartolome and to ask for your prayers for her recovery.
Mirasol, fondly known as “Tots”, is the third child of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Bartolome from Manaoag, Pangasinan. She is currently serving as a member of the Philippine Coast Guard.
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, during a short break, Tots woke up feeling the need to use the restroom. Shortly after, she began vomiting and experienced severe head pain. Her colleagues immediately brought her to the PCG clinic, where she was assessed and referred to bring her to the hospital. The nearest hospital is the “The Manila Doctors Hospital” for urgent care.
Recent medical results revealed that Tots suffered an aneurysm. After consulting with her doctors, the family decided on the coiling procedure, which is a common treatment for aneurysms. However, the estimated cost for the procedure ranges from ₱1,500,000 (CAD37,500) to ₱2,000,000 (CAD 50,000), excluding professional fees and hospitalization. Professional fees alone may reach up to ₱500,000 (CAD12,500), and after surgery, Tots will need to stay in the ICU for observation before moving to a recovery room. The family estimates the total cost could reach up to ₱3,000,000 (CAD 75,000).
Her siblings are doing all their best to come up with the above total estimated cost but still need financial assistance as their father Benjamin is also undergoing a kidney dialysis.
Your generosity—whether through financial assistance or prayers—will mean the world to Tots and her family during this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and support.
