We, Teddyjoe and Ashley Fortenberry along with our two daughters, Joley and Bailey, are reaching out because we wanted to do something for our dear friend and neighbor Ms. Debbie Harden during this time of her health issues.
And if you don’t know her personally here’s a little about her- Ms Debbie Harden is 62 and the widow of Mr. Gerald Harden of Magnolia, Ms. She has two adult daughters- Heather & Hannah, who have stayed by their mom’s side from helping on the farm to now her health.
She has been self employed all her life- now retired, a dairy farmer and then a poultry broiler grower until here recently.
She has been dedicated to her family, farming, hunting and the outdoors.
Some may not know or not know the extent of it- Five months ago, she was hospitalized on May 5 with a severe kidney infection, in kidney failure and venous stasis ulcers on the back of both of her legs. With that she was in ICU for about 4 days, hospitalized 12 more days before going home, has had a surgical procedure at the hospital done on her legs every week since. She also has recently had bout with pneumonia which put her back in the hospital for a few more days.
She will continue to have weekly treatments done on her legs until they get to a point where the doctors are confident they are healing and they say this could take up to a few more months.
So with all that being said the medical costs are adding up!
So as a self employed farmer she has had no health insurance.
And anyone that knows her knows she is one that would definitely give to help out! She’s the kind that would definitely give the shirt off her back! So this is our time to help her!
She’s been a loyal supporter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and always supporting the kids in church, school, and team fundraisers.
We know a lot of people who are in need of help but let’s come together to help our neighbor and show her our support in her time of need and on her road to recovery.
Every little bit helps and adds up so any donated amount will help and would be greatly appreciated to go towards her mounting medical expenses.
All donated funds will go directly to her medical bills.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!!
Thank you all in advance!
