Hello everyone,

My name is Mohammad Al-Serr from Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip. I am 38 years old, and I have a family of four. Before the recent conflict, I worked as a taxi driver. My wife, Doaa Al-Serr, is 33, and together we have two young children—our son Zein, who is 4, and our baby Amir, who is only 6 months old.

Since the Israeli attacks on Gaza began in October 2023, our lives have been turned upside down. We have been displaced multiple times, and our home was destroyed by bombs shortly after our first evacuation. Along with our home, we lost everything that made our life beautiful. But what hurts the most is the loss of peace and safety—our warm, comfortable home and the calm, simple life we once knew. The relentless shelling has left us with nowhere to turn, no place that feels safe.

These days have been incredibly difficult, and our situation is growing more dire. There are no jobs, no resources to cover even the most basic needs. We are struggling to find medicine, healthy food, clean water, electricity—essentials we once took for granted.

Our son Zein has lost his carefree childhood, along with the toys he once loved. Baby Amir, who was born in the midst of this crisis, lacks diapers, milk, and other essentials. We are living in tents, moving from one place to another, slowly losing hope. From a beautiful home, we have ended up in a tent on the side of the road.

I am reaching out for your support to raise $14,000 to evacuate my family to a safer place. This amount would cover $5,000 in evacuation fees for my wife and me, $5,000 for registering Zein and Amir, $1,000 for travel expenses, and the remainder to help us rebuild our home when we are able to return, God willing.

These funds would give us a chance at a new start, at a stable life beyond Gaza. What I’ve shared here barely captures our daily struggle and pain since the aggression began. I am grateful for any support or solidarity you can offer.

لدينا طفلين زين يبلغ من العمر ٤سنوات

فى ضوء العدوان الإسرائيلي على قطاع غزة مررنا بظروف صعبة للغاية. ونزحنا عدة مرات.وفقدنا منزلنا فى بداية الحرب بسبب قنابل العدو بعد وقت قصير من نزوحنا الاول

لقد فقدنا كل الأشياء الجميلة التى اعتدت انا وعائلتي الاستمتاع بها،وكان اصعب شي جميل فقدناه هو السلام والسلامة التى كنا نعيش ببيت جميل دافئ وحياة هادئة كل هذا فقدناه بسبب الحرب والقصف العنيف الذى أحاط بنا فى جميع الأماكن التى هربنا إليها.

كانت ايام صعبة وحزينة على أقل تقدير،

لانه لا يوجد اى مصدر عمل للحصول على المال الذى نحتاجه لتلبية أدنى متطلبات الحياة . وضعنا مروع بشكل كبير لا يوجد دواء ولا طعام صحى ولاماء صالح للشرب ولا كهرباء ولا حياة .

فقدنا الحياة المستقرة والترفيهية التى اعتدنا ان نعيشها انا وعائلتي واطفالي ،

فطفلى زين حرم طفولته الجميلة فخسر جميع ألعابه التى احبها ولعب بها طول الوقت .

وطفلى أمير ولد بالحرب قبل ٦شهور ،

حيث عانى من عدم توفر البمبرز والحليب

وعاش عيشة الخيم فأصبحنا نتنقل من خيمة لأخرى حتى انزلقنا ببطء نحو اليأس.

من منزل جميل إلى خيمة فى منتصف الشارع. أحتاج إلى مساعدتك فى جمع الأموال لمغادرة قطاع غزة .

يتطلب مني مغادرة قطاع غزة بسبب الحرب وجمع 14000 دولار سيغطى

5000دولار رسوم الأخلاء لزوجتي وانا، وسيكون 5000 دولار كافيا لتسجيل أبنائ البالغ أعمارهم ٤سنوات و٦ شهور .

سيساعد مبلغ 1000دولار إضافى فى تغطية نفقات السفر والنقل لدينار، وسيذهب المبلغ المتبقي في إعادة بناء منزلنا عندما نعود،إشاء الله .

أحتاج إلى جمع المال لاستعادة حياة جميلة واستقرار خارج قطاع غزة كل ماأقوله لايترك سوى كمية من معاناتنا اليومية التي نعيشها ونعانى منها مايقرب العام والنصف .

فيما يلى لمحة عن التناقض بين حياتنا قبل العدوان والكابوس الذى كنا نتحمله من بداية هدا العدوان علينا .
