My sweet cat Mitsy has been part of our family for the past years. She’s an indoor cat who has always been kept safe, loved, and well cared for — she means the world to us.

Over the past few days, (since 27/10/25) she’s become very unwell all of a sudden — she’s not eating and barely drinking, has lost weight, and has become weak and unresponsive. After visiting the vet, she was diagnosed with severe dehydration and urgently needs treatment and scans to find out what’s causing her condition. We have spent on antibiotics and temporary oral fluids however this won’t be enough. The vet has warned that it could become life-threatening if left untreated.

I do have insurance, but the excess and initial costs are high — starting from £600 and potentially reaching up to £2,000, depending on the tests and treatment needed. I’m doing everything I can to help her recover, but I can’t manage these costs alone.
