Donate to Help Miss. Maddie's School of Scholars
Hi! My name is Madison May, but my students know me as Miss. Maddie. From a very young age, I had a passion for teaching. I wrote a letter to myself in 5th grade, stating that I would someday be a teacher and share my love for learning. Through high school, college, and beyond, I have worked with students of all ages, coming up with different ideas to make learning fun and effective while fostering a lifelong love for learning. At the peak of the COVID pandemic, I saw the stress and discouragement that both parents and students were experiencing. I wanted to create a solution.
I set out to develop a space where students and parents would have safety, positivity, encouragement, support, and high-level educational resources. I am asking for your help to make my dream a reality! I am seeking funds to open a commercial space in Laguna Niguel for Miss. Maddie's School of Scholars. I am starting from the ground up, and I will not be able to make this possible without your help. The money will go towards rent, renovations, insurance, permitting, school supplies, furniture, learning resources, and much more. I could not be more passionate about helping students reach their goals in a way that is effective and stress-free. I know that with a space, I can create a learning environment that would change how students view school and learning. Any donation amount will make a difference. :)
My business was founded to serve the learning needs of families with children of all ages throughout Orange County. I graduated from Dana Hills High School and the University of California, Irvine. I have drawn upon my several years of experience working with children and young adults in the region to create this dream. I am here to provide individualized and group learning services.
The space will provide alternative learning environments with group and individually-tailored lesson plans for K-12 and college students. Students can receive one-on-one tutoring, group tutoring, college essay assistance, SAT/ACT preparation, or join a learning pod. Learning pods are similar to what private schools offer in regards to curriculum and experience but are more intimate and custom-tailored to students’ individual needs. The learning pods are typically six-to-eight students, lending themselves to more learning opportunities and one-on-one help that other academic institutions may not be able to offer. If your child struggles in class, it will be addressed immediately as the optimal teacher-to-student ratio. The pods create a private network of families who want their children to learn together in a fun, safe, and efficient environment. My mission is to foster a life-long love for learning.
Thank you for your support! :)
Love,
Miss. Maddie
