Hi, my name is Dana and I am fundraising for Miriam Diegeuz.
Miriam is a loving mother and described by her daughter Amanda as “ fiercely loyal and loves her family equally as fiercely.” She is creative, loves to cook, to dance and listen to music.
On May 21, 2022, Miriam slipped and fell while in Costa Rica to celebrate her nephew’s graduation from medical school.
The fall resulted in brain trauma which required immediate surgery and a medically induced coma.
Miriam is recuperating and remains in the ICU in Costa Rica without an exact timetable on full recovery and when she will be able to be released from the hospital.
The hospital is putting a lot of pressure on the family to pay for the treatment in order to allow Miriam to stay in the hospital.
The unexpected accident, surgery and international hospital stay have put a financial strain on the family.
The medical bills already exceed the amount of this fundraiser.
We are asking you to contribute to take some of this financial burden off of the family so their focus can remain on helping Miriam recover.
