Help Milica study at her dream course at university in Ireland!
As a dedicated and passionate mental health advocate Milica has been accepted into the prestigious Master’s program in Psychoanalytic Studies at Trinity College Dublin, and we need to raise £30,000 until 5th July 2024 to make this dream a reality.
Meet Milica
Milica Krstic is from Belgrade, Serbia, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology after a rigorous four-year program. Her academic journey included an internship at the Military Medical Academy, which solidified her commitment to the field of mental health. Her success does not stop there as she also founded FeelSafeHub , a platform which unified over 100+ psychology professionals helping over 24,000 suicide patients in 11 different languages! Also Milica is part of Forbes 30 under 30 for social impact.
A Turning Point
The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 marked a pivotal moment in Milica's life. The tragic loss of two friends to suicide and the suicide attempts of five others deeply impacted her. Driven by these experiences, Milica dedicated herself to making a difference in mental health. She began studying body-oriented psychotherapy at the IPD Center in Croatia and, in April 2022, founded Safe Space (now FeelSafeHub), a platform offering free psychotherapy to those in need.
Safe Space: A Lifeline for Many
FeelSafeHub has provided over 24,000 free psychotherapy sessions in 11 languages, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including students, adults, women, and members of the LGBT and non-binary communities. This platform has been a lifeline for many, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their financial situation, has access to mental health support.
Recognized for Her Impact
Milica’s incredible work has been recognized by Forbes, where she was listed in the "30 Under 30 " for her significant social impact. Despite numerous challenges, including financial constraints and balancing her humanitarian work with her professional life, Milica has demonstrated unwavering dedication to her cause.
The Next Step: Trinity College Dublin
Milica is on the verge of completing her education in body-oriented psychotherapy and has been accepted into the Master’s program in Psychoanalytic Studies at Trinity College Dublin. This program will provide her with the advanced knowledge and skills needed to continue making a profound impact in the field of mental health.
