Help Michelle Remove a Potentially Dangerous Squatter from Her Home

In May 2025, a woman named Tess came to stay with Michelle for what was supposed to be two weeks. Unfortunately, Tess has refused to leave ever since. Despite repeated requests and attempts to resolve the situation, she continues to occupy Michelle’s home against her will.

Over the past several months, Tess’s behavior has become increasingly disruptive and dangerous — she has even allegedly pushed Michelle down the stairs, constantly runs up the heating bill, and misuses household appliances.

The Minnesota legal system requires a formal eviction process to remove someone once they’ve established residency, even when they are not paying rent. This process is costly, slow, and emotionally draining. Michelle is facing mounting legal fees and household expenses just to regain control of her own home.
