Donate to help Michael Griffin's medical bills

Hello, some of you know me as Michael, some maybe as Griffin.

On Monday, March 11 I suffered a cranial fracture to my temporal bone. I woke up with blood in my ear and had to go to the ER for treatment. I was afraid my brain was hemorrhaging and I thought I might die without treatment. I do not have health insurance, and the costs are going to be crippling.

I'm left with partial hearing damage in my right ear, and will need to see an ENT specialist for future recovery. I'm assured that my condition is stable, although the financial burden is concerning.

I've worked in Asheville BOH for the last 11 years, and have made many connections in that time. Some will know me for my passion for pastry and fermentation, others know me as an egg slinging brunch cook. I've made countless connections in our community's hospitality industry and music scene.

I'm humbly asking now for any assistance this community I love so much, is able to provide.
