Hi, my name is Meredyth, sister of Mike and sister in law to Kate. I have started this go fund me to help them during an overwhelming, stressful and difficult time in their lives.

Recently, our family was shocked, as Kate received the devastating news that she has breast cancer. Kate has had to take a leave from the job that she loves, as she undergoes chemotherapy treatment, and brace for surgery and radiation.

Mike, Kate's devoted husband, is currently not working, in an effort to support Kate, by coordinating and accompanying her to appointments, picking up medication, as well as attempting to maintain a sense of normalcy for their two young children, Alex and Ava.

Navigating through cancer treatment is not only emotionally taxing but also financially burdensome. Some medications Kate is required to take are not covered, and some that she has elected to take to improve the outcome are also not covered. With multiple rounds of treatment needed, these costs add up quickly.

This page was created to help relieve some of the financial pressure on Mike and Kate during this difficult time. Your generous donations will help cover medical expenses, childcare costs, and everyday essentials, allowing Mike to focus on being there for Kate and their children, without the added worry of financial strain.
