Michael Gamboa, the son of 2 immigrants and a first generation student, has always worked his hardest in school. He was and remains a standout for his class not only academically,

but in athletics as well. In the past 4 years he has remained one of the most successful students to attend Addison Trail High School. Michael Gamboa is not simply a thug like the district wants you to believe, he is an 8x honor roll student all throughout high school, a 4x all academic athlete for soccer, a member of the National team Honors Society, within the top 10% of his class, as well as one of the most courageous individuals battling his own hardships all throughout high school, yet continues to be a successful student, athlete, and citizen. This last Thursday Michael made a post towards the school that was thrown out of proportion by the district which has resulted in his life being thrusted upside down. Michael and his family are in need of assistance so that they are able to pay the lawyer fees in order to battle this case. Michael is aware of his actions, however he had no malicious intent and his life at Addison Trail has reflected this, always displaying a character of great persistence, courageousness, and intelligence.
